A Wonderful Memory
2 of 2 found this helpful I remember seeing Dan Fogelberg in concert around 1981 or 1982 in what was advertised as an all acoustic evening. It was just Dan, his guitar and his piano. After all this time I still rank that night as the best concert I've ever attended. Dan's music made an indelible mark on me and even though I knew he was battling cancer, it brought me to tears when I found out he had passed. I started searching for concert DVD's and this is the only one there is available. I read reviews of others who had purchased this DVD and I have to agree with the group of them who noted the direct transfer to DVD of a VHS recording. It leaves you wishing someone had taken the time to clean it up and remastered it before releasing the DVD. But I sat, and watched, and was again moved and mezmerized by Dan's music and by his performance. If you are a true Dan Fogelberg fan and want to have a lasting memory of Dan, you have to get this DVD. True fans will look beyond where the video and audio are lacking and will see a true artist, and an amazing man performing music which touches the soul. We will miss you Dan.
