Replacement for filament bulb
Purchased as a replacement for a filament tube bulb. Good strong light. Was very marginally shorter than bulb it replaced so had to adjust contacts slightly to avoid flicker.

simple and fast
Like the well balanced grip, easy flick illuminated switch and flip up lid. 3kw fast boiling but a bit slow to shut off and a few clicks when cooling down... Time will tell how long lived this will be?

Does what's expected
Does its job very well. A better than expected product... poorly described on listing. Easy to fix in place with supplied hook and loop tape. So can be removed when not in use ie: outside summer season. Does not unduly obstruct normal operation of window...long zip allows some ventilation if needed. Would be better if made available in different lengths though.
