samsung hd dvd recorder
i like the improvement in picture quality as it is 1280 dp upscaling but hate the menu interface as it is far to slow and takes an age to populate with programs :0(
the remote is east to use tho as is the recorder itself but again it is let down by its library interface which just gives you the date time channel and duration when what u really needed was the program name so a simple task made complicated
i decided to buy it because my current freeview unit had what i considered a poor picture
would i buy another the simple answer would be no

great series on six high quality discs and the best way to watch it back to back
no dislikes
decided to buy it because it was recommended to me
