I was concerned about a non-branded product fitting properly. Didn't need the mount, but it was so cheap it didn't matter. Takes a while to arrive from across the globe. Snaps on fine and appears to be OEM. Ask me again in a couple years if it holds up OK.

Does Everything We Need

Based on our experience with other Panasonic electronics (including phone equipment), we bought this to replace our aging Siemens base + wireless extensions. Seems immune to the interference issues we had with the microwave and other dead spots in our house. Easier to set up. Good sound quality. Good ergonomics (weight and feel). Audio caller ID seems weird and may be turned off shortly. As a refurb, cosmetics were near perfect. Won't get to really test the range until next summer. So far we're very happy with the value.

LIfetime Investment

So much more reliable and easier to read than the cheap stick-type gauges. End fitting makes easy positive contact. This version does not swivel, but haven't missed that so far.
