Works great except tilt function
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a nice solid construction. A bit stiff in movement but you don't want it too loose either. The only drawback is the tilt function has to be locked in. So if you want to tilt it down or up and keep it there you either have to force it while tight and then hope it holds in it's new position or loosen and re-tighten it in the new position all while holding a heavy monitor from falling forwards which is a real deal breaker.
Also, if you do loosen it beware that it will go from tight to dropping the monitor flat down to the table instantly so make sure nothing is in front or underneath or you'll out a hole in the front of your monitor.
I don't understand why some sort of ratchet or spring system was used in the tilt part.
If you never tilt your monitor get it, if you do, avoid.
