It sounds okay but terrible to install and nothing included other than speaker
I bought these speakers to install in an older Toyota. The slim mounts had good reviews and were what I needed. All the installation instructions on line said "Remove the grills, unbolt the speakers, disconnect leads, connect leads to new speakers, screw in the speakers, replace grills." Easy, right? Not with Timpano.
Here are the issues I had:
1. The speaker terminals are both the large (0.188") size. The connectors in the vehicle were large for + and small for negative. I had to buy connectors, cut and replace the smaller connector.
2. The speaker bolt holes didn't line up with the stock 6.5" speaker mounts.
3. The speakers didn't include any mounting hardware. No speaker adaptors, no screws, nothing. Fortunately, I had an extra set of speaker adaptors that were included with JBLs I bought previously. I used those to mount.
4. The speaker frame is wider than other 6.5s, maybe because it is a shallow mount? All I know is it too some mods to make it fit.
What should have been a simple 60 minute job took close to 4 hours because of the lack of included hardware and atypical dimensions. It sounds okay but installation is not good.

Installed in 30 minutes on '14 Street Triple 675 and love it
The good value is relative... You can buy cheaper (much cheaper) systems, but I have a TBR on my Triumph Daytona and I love the sound, so I splurged. I've had my Daytona exhaust for 8 year and the quality is top notch. I expect this one, installed on '14 Street Triple, to be similar.
Install was easy, although I had to consult YouTube and figure a couple of things out on my own - the cheap one-page instructions don't cover a couple of things. That's the only downsides.
Upsides: pretty quick install, love the sound, saves a ton of weight. Both the carbon fibre cannister and the way it tucks up under the swingarm looks fantastic - the stocker is both heavy and ugly.
Very happy with this purchase.
