More complicated than I had thought and is it worth the effort...I suspect not. Would I do it again...probably not.
0 of 3 found this helpful I found the machine more noisy than I had anticipated and one needs a butler's pantry in whihc to store it.
The biggest disappointment was the lack of recipes. I would have thought that with such an expensive machine it would have come with many recipes but sadly not the case. Seems there are two types of ice cream - simple inc creams and "custard' style ice creams whhc use 5 eggs and take time and are COMPLICATED.
The lack of variety in recipes is a serious issue so far as I am concerned and I went onto the net looking for recipes for the Cusinart machine but this didn't really improve the situation. Now I will look for recipes generally and adapt. Wish me luck.
