Good sound and beautiful object
This violin has a much nicer sound than those I used to play at the orchestra. It's still a violin for beginners I guess, but it will probably last me until I am intermediate.
It does not come with a shoulder rest, and that's something I'll have to buy separately. It'd be great if it came with one included.
It's all varnished except for the inner part of the head, where the strings wind around the tuning pegs. And has a little mark on the belly, near the fingerboard, but it's not easily noticeable, so it's ok.
The strings might not be of the best quality -D string split while I was tuning it. But I guess it can't be helped. It has to happen sometime.
I decided to buy a Stagg because I'd heard that they were relatively inexpensive and good quality. They have proved to be so.
In conclusion, I would buy it again, and would recommend it if someone asked me.

Good quality strings, and at a low price. Nice sound
