    Steptoe & Son
Having watched Steptoe & Son as a child I carried fond memories watching it. Having found the complete collectors edition with all 58 episodes and the two Christmas shows I looked forward to watching it all again. The packaging is first class but the picture quality of the first few episodes leaves a lot to be desired but this is to be expected with shows that are now 45 years old, but they are still watch able. All but he last two series are in black & white (there were 8 series) but this only adds to the nostalgic review. As I watched each show one after the other it began to become repetitive with some episodes being variations on the same theme. All of the episodes were built around the corner stones of catch phrases of "HAROLD" and "You dirty dirty little man" which I used to remember as funny but found them to become too repetitive when watched in quick succession. Having said all this The shows are still classic British comedy at its best but would recommend not to watch more than 1 or 2 shows at a time so as not to become bored with the repetitive themes. If you’re a fan of British comedy spend your money on the complete series of "Only fools & horses" first. it beats Steptoe hands down in my opinion.

    Men of Honour
Gripping true life film that I could watch over again. Do look at the alternative ending, it closes out the hole story.

Fawly Towers - The complete Series
John Cleese at his most comical. Comedy at its very best its a pity they only made two series. Well worth adding to any collection.
