New but broken

The carburetor was brand new as advertised, unfortunately there was a big crack in the plastic linkage arm in the exact same place where it broke on the carburetor I'm trying to replace. I think it is a design flaw in this carburetor. I'm going to try one of the C1M-W26C "knock off" carburetors with all metal linkage selling for $15. I say 'knock off' because in the pics it doesn't say "W26C" where it should.
