Wonder Lens
Does great as all around lens, despite not being a 2.8.

Broke 1st day
It looks great. Has plenty room and pockets but first day I used it, the strap broke. I hope the bag lasts.

Great camera for great value.
2 of 2 found this helpful It has become a mainstay for me doing stills. Rather than put my video dslr out there to risk, I would rather risk a low cost value camera with excellent results. The only downside is the ISO is limited to 1600, rather than the 6400 of newer cameras but it still gets the job done. I would recommend using a DX lens with this camera due to sharpness and the VR feature. My dslr has all controls onboard via the LCD but I really like the controls on the outside of the camera. I hope my next Nikon will do all controls outside, not via the menu buttons on the LCD. If you want a good 10 megapixel camera for those not so critical jobs or just cuz you want to keep your bread winners indoors...this is the camera worth the money,
