Brad makes music for the right reason
This is a must read. Thoroughly enjoyed it. When I brought home my first steel guitar, my dad said, Oh, Just like Alvino Rey. I was thinking Jerry Garcia. Brad had great guidance and encouragement. My cousin got my guitar after I neglected it a little. I've caught up now to a professional level. This is why I liked Mike of the Monkees and George of the Beatles. Solid guitar players, songwriters but not too self obsessed// look at me.

Masterpiece of Latin rhythm interpretations of Django's greatest tunes
This is a masterpiece. Joe plays an interesting assortment of instruments including violin, mandolin, mandola with unusual octave strings on the bottom, cavaquino, baritone uke and percussion. This is a deep exploration of many forms of Latin rhythms in highly creative arrangements of Django's (and some jointly with Grapelli) greatest compositions. This is not a gypsy jazz approach with a steady pump and relentless ornamented arpeggios. It is a deep melody interpretation and sometimes humorous. This deserves awards. I'm going to check Grammy history now.
