Apple infrastructure makes Nano great.
1 of 1 found this helpful The Apple Nano costs a lot compared to other players, but makes up for it in ease of use. Plugging it in once a day to my computer loads it with my favorite podcasts easily and quickly, the time saved making p for the purchase price over the five years I expect it minimally to function. I also find its FM radio to be a delight for listening to sports, all the major teams being on FM. I like the touch screen and think it superior to the old mechanical switches. There still are switches for adjusting volume and pausing playback plus a pushbutton to turn off the display. Turning off the display during use extends battery life a lot and the switches for volume/pause mean you don't need the display on.
I also own an iPod Touch which I use as a small tablet, primarily, rather than as a "player". The Nano's smaller size plus the radio makes a big difference to me.
