Bright as!
First note, it's pictured fitting a US license plate. The one I got does not. Looks like it's for a wider European license plate. I was able to adapt it by putting the right bracket on the left side, pointing inward instead of outward, and vice versa with the left bracket. It limits the adjustability of it, but it does work.
I've gotten a lot of compliments about this plate. Co-workers who have seen me driving in to work early in the morning have remarked at just how intensely bright my license plate is, and how it makes my vintage car look modern.
I did not wire in the brake light feature, as I have no doubt it's not legal in the US.

Surprisingly functional for the price. But you get what you pay for.
2 of 2 found this helpful For the price, it's amazing. Compared to full price units though... Apps crash A LOT. It's insanely slow running anything useful like Chrome or Pandora. Battery life is decent when reading books, at least 4 hours. It's definitely NOT THIN. This thing is thicker than a 1st gen iPad WITH a case. It's like 2001's iPod thick.. Kinda heavy, it's hard to hold for a long time when reading.
