Cheap Shifter That Will Do the Job
1 of 1 found this helpful Good product. Reduced the throw of my shifting by a nice margin. It feels a lot more notchy than it was, which is better than having it be like rowing a boat with the OEM shifter. Looking to see how it will hold up over the years, but for the price, it's a nice mod for my E36. Negatives of the product include the fact that the shift knob is now crooked and shifted to left due to the shifter. The shifter is also a bit skinnier than the OEM shifter, so there is a little bit of airflow between the insulation shifter cup and the boot, which lets you hear the transmission whine after 3-4k rpm. Personally, I don't find it that annoying and it's not too loud; it sound pretty sick ;). Overall would recommend if you don't want to fork over $200 for a short shifter.
