LG 37LF66 1080p LCD TV

I bought this TV because one was available cheap, and held out little hope. How wrong I was. This TV looks like a £6-700 model, with a feeling of quality materials. The high gloss finish doesn't hold fingerprints and also manages to keep some subtlety to its expensive looks. The picture quality is excellent, especially displaying games consoles (I've tried it with a Wii and XBox) and HD. A nice touch is the separate button on the remote for quickly changing the brightness without having to enter the menu. This is my first Full HD TV, and I don't think I'll be going back. The sound quality is also good. It didn't make me sit up and notice, but I don't have any complaints, either. Which I suppose is what I look for in TV sound. It is a little short of gadgety features, such as picture in picture, which is disappointing. The menu system offsets this somewhat, by being excellent with a quality feel, adding to the expensive feel of the TV. Similarly, the remote looks good and is easy to use and logical. Living with the TV is simple. There are plenty of input/outputs, which are easily accessible. Switching inputs, making adjustments and accessing features are all handled well. I've yet to come across any area I feel could have benefited from a bit more trial and development time. My only complaint is the VESA standard for wall mounting is 600 x 400. This is a bit obscure, and a definate step backwards from the 200 x 200 on my previous 37" LCD. That said, I have it wall mounted (on my previous arm, using an adapter), and all is well. Vesa 200 mounting holes would have made it a bit cheaper and neater, however, as compatable arms are often designed for much larger screen sizes. In conclusion, I'm happy with my purchase. Look, feel, picture and sound are all very pleasing. I can forgive the wall mounting problems, now that I've done it, but only time will tell if I will miss my gadgets.

Nice watch which is not too big

This is a good, solid watch which looks nice and is not too big. Most of the functionality is on the app, which is excellent, with just the basics on the watch itself. Getting used to how to navigate through the menus took a little time but is fine once you get used to it. It gathers plenty of data about activities, etc. Very happy.
