diamond files
Not intended as a test but I needed a safe edge on the narrow side of the file,so I used a small bench grinder to remove the diamond. It did not happen instead it dressed the wheel and the diamonds remained unaffected I had expected them to be removed from the edge of the file.
The only negative I can add is that I feel that the 150 grit to be too coarse and a finer grit of say250 or even 300 might cut better. I use these files to dress up High speed tool steel then finish off with an oil stone for a razor sharp finish, Yes I am happy with them but I would like to be able to buy then in various grits from 250 up to say 500 grit.
They seem to last quite well and the diamonds do not separate from the base metal
