Good carrier, but . . .
I had similar carriers by Inertia Designs. The other one was a laptop carrier. They are sturdy, and get the job done. I used my previous Metro Basket Pannier for over 15 years, just about every other day, except for those snowy Chicago winter days. The bottom was wearing out and the bungee cord finally broke. OK, it was for 15 YEARS, so I decided to order a new one. I was a little disappointed that the new one had a skinnier bungee cord, and I'm worried that it won't last as long. I called Inertia Designs, and the person on the phone was familiar with the change in cord size. He said that their supplier of the cords was still in compliance with their specs, although it is smaller in width. He stated that there has been no complaints or returns because of that, and assured me that it would be covered by their lifetime warranty guarantee, should any problem occur. So . . . I'll let you know in 10 years if everything's OK . . .

A well-written and illustrated book.
I'm a big fan of electric railways. I ran across this book in a Rochester library while killing time as my wife had her appointments at the Mayo Clinic (nothing serious - just a routine physical), and decided to buy it when I had the chance.
When I saw it for sale on eBay's Half.com at a deeply discounted price, I couldn't pass up the deal. The condition advertised was "like new."
The book arrived promptly and was in near-perfect condition.
What initially drew me to it were the high-quality photographs. The narrative was almost equally high in quality and covered the people as well as the streetcars. I only found one or two typos.
The only thing I found lacking was that the maps, although detailed, were tiny, and required magnification for details. An improvement would have been perhaps a foldout, with the entire system displayed. As a non-Twin Cities resident, I occasionally had a difficult time understanding where things were. A reference to a map in the index would have been helpful (Shore Line's "First and Fastest" quarterly periodical does this effectively).
Overall, it's a great read, and I'm anxious to ride the new Green Line light rail down University next time I visit the Twin Cities.

A "show about nothing" that predates Seinfeld by over 50 years!
A great read of transcripts of a popular radio show. This predates Seinfeld's "show about nothing" by over 50 years!
I bought this because my mother (before she was married) was the nanny for Paul and Mary Frances Rhymer's son Parke and told me about the many humorous incidents while she was in their employ. She remained friends with the Rhymer family for many years and continued to receive humorous postcards from Paul. Occasionally he would use my mother's name on the show in passing as an inside joke, as he would do with other friends (or enemies).
There are some websites that have the old radio and TV show that are great to hear in conjunction with this book.
