Incorrect voltage battery for Motorola Radius SP-50
1 of 1 found this helpful The Motorola Radius SP-50 radios will receive and transmit using this battery fully charged.
However, these are 7.2 VDC cellphone batteries, unlike the 7.5 VDC batteries the Motorola Radius SP-50 expects, so they do not last as long. Also, the Motorola charges will not recognize them as being fully charged (since only 7.2 VDC, when the charger expects 7.5 VDC), and thus if you plan to keet them in a charger, they charger will never go into battery maintenance mode (green LED), but stays in constant chatging mode (yellow LED).
So, they are about 1/3 the cost of 7.5 VDC batteries, but are not really the correct battery for the Motorola Radius SP-50.

Gret to have extra charger for travel. Seems same as OEM.
