The cure for my Ultimate Team addiction
I played over 100 games (which isn't much compared to my usual tally), but I can't recall a single one that I enjoyed. I carried on playing it out of habit, and to avoid missing out on the extremely limited time cards in Ultimate Team. Luckily for me my addiction to trading and upgrading my teams has been cured by the enormous step backwards in the gameplay, the excessiveness of the incredibly expensive, time-restricted SBCs and the game insisting that you play X number of matches in each mode per week if you want any real rewards for playing the damn thing. Oh, and the Journey bored me to sleep at night... several times. Danny Williams is the only credible character with depth and he's always been the comic relief. Don't give EA and their 'surprise mechanics' (packs i.e. lootboxes with a different name) a penny for this mockery of a football game.
