Makes a great coffee with great advance features for those that want to use them!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have had the machine for about 5 weeks now and am extremely happy with it. Makes a great cup of coffee and even my wife who was happy using Nespresso pods now asks me to make her coffee too!
Pros:
* Attractive Unit - smooth edges, easy to clean
* Large Water Tank - with ability to fill from front/top of unit (or directly into tank at rear)
* Advanced Features to modify pre infusion time and pressure, brew temperature and steam temperature
* Programmability - Auto On, 1 Cup/2 Cup buttons can be programmed by duration or flow based settings
* Large Drip Tray
* Being a dual boiler, able to make coffee and steam milk at same time.
* Able to make some super creamy micro foam milk for lattes etc
* Great results are possible but also rely on a decent quality fresh beans and a grinder to grind beans on demand.
Cons:
* More use of plastic parts than more expensive machines (potential issue for longevity vs value for money)
* Steaming is a little slow (but there is plenty of it to steam milk for 4-6 lattes at a time!)
* Auto Shut Off after 10-15 minutes. It would be nice to be able to program this to keep on a little longer to benefit from the cup warmer and keeping group head warm if you are going to use it a few times throughout the day - although the unit is very quick (< 5 mins) to heat up to temperature .
