Great movie based on a great book
The movie and the actors pull you into a very sad part of our history. Richard Harris and Julie Andrews were actually pretty hot together. I would recommend this to everyone. It's not just a chick movie, but it is a great chick movie.

Great husband gift!
My husband was thrilled to go back in time and see all the characters and settings in Hawaii that he remembers from his youth.... a long time ago. He has already watched parts of this twice!
