From Filmations Kid Vid Live Sci Fi Era

Being an original Star Trek fan from the 60's I can still see the influences that program had upon later sci fi shows after it. This was the first of 3 of the best sci fi-live kid vid shows from Filmation Studios starting from of the later 70's. It's story fare is moralisticly themed but in todays world of entertainment its rather refreshing to know that writers did think in such a fashion and there was a passion behind their idea of changing the nature of humanity for the better. To bring an awareness to the audience of peoples thinking and related behaviors. I'm feeling this and the other two later Filmation sci-fi shows are most worthy of a decently crafted modern revamp/ remake.

The great Galoob 1988 toy.

A fine toy product from the Galoob toy days of ST: TNG. It's exactly the same as the one I owned back then. Glitchy working sound chip and all. Fits in an adult hand well, at 5" length, 1 3/4" depth and 2" width. Taking 3 AAA batteries.
