A great edition of a famous book series
I read Dune and its sequels many years ago and loved them, so when I saw this trilogy I just had to have it. I am so glad I bought it. I am enjoying it every bit as much as I did all those years ago.

Not exactly historical, but such is the magic of the person called Alexander that I enjoyed it nonetheless.

A horrifying subject but fascinating too.
An incredible book. It is hard to read at times as the punishments are explicit, but the book portrays 16th century Nuremburg wonderfully. Harrington has done a great job in bringing the words of the faithful executioner to life.
