Great for self taught students!
I homeschooled two children from K-12 using Robinson Curriculum which is 100% self-taught using Saxon for math. They both tested at the community college into college classes at ages 15 and 16 and the math professor and advisor asked what I used for math because they had rarely seen such high test scores. They were shocked to find out they were both self taught. Saxon textbooks is written to the student so it's great for self taught students.
