Excellent replacement
This replaces my old IP7250 which was OK but the TS705 packs more features, is more user-friendly and also has a smaller footprint, which is a bonus.

I love these headphones.
1 of 1 found this helpful I've had a pair of DT990Pros for about 15 years now and absolutely love them. To me their only shortcoming was that the mid-range and extreme top-end seemed slightly suppressed. Neverthess, when they finally developed a fault and a replacement was needed in a hurry it made sense to buy a new pair rather than get my old ones repaired. I'm glad I did. The new ones are even better than the old with the previous shortcomings now gone and even greater sonic detail revealed.
The old cans had a curly lead, whereas the new have a straight one. Not sure that makes much difference though.
The DT990s are comfortable, even if worn for long periods - a delight to listen to and if they should develop a fault some years down the line there's a very good chance that spares will still be available.
