A joy for left handed learners!
2 of 2 found this helpful As someone who is new to crochet and left handed this is a wonderful book written using UK crochet terminology. It is in a fantastic workbook format, therefore building on your new found skills and increasing your confidence as you work page by page. Everything is clearly written with a comprehensive coloured diagram that guides you through every step. I'm only half way through the book, having successfully made the granny squares. This is written in a 'hand holding' way, part one (row one) everything is explained in intricate detail, stage two (row two) starts to explain the process and terms that are used in commercial patterns. Stage 3 (row 3) is written as per a crochet pattern. This has given me the confidence to crochet other items using a pattern.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this to left and right handed newcomers to crochet.

Beautiful Blanket
1 of 1 found this helpful A beautiful blanket to make. Written in UK crochet terminology that is clear and concise. Everything is fully explained in writing & helpful colour photographs. With the aid of the photos was able to create the rosebuds with ease using the birds foot and bobble stitches.
I'm new to crochet and this is a fantastic pattern for new or experienced crocheters to make. Was really pleased with the end result.
