Robust performance of both Brahms Concertos
The preeminent pianist Rudolf Buchbinder gives a robust performance of the monumental Brahms concertos; all captured on crystal clear Blu ray audio and video.

Excellent Blu ray in all respects - audio, video, and performance
This Blu ray is excellent in all respects. Both audio and picture are very clear. The camera work is excellent. The St Petersburg Philharmonic / Temirkanov offer a superb rendition of the orchestral pieces. Matsuev is a 6’6” powerhouse on the piano, perfectly suited for the big virtuosic concertos of Rachmaninoff. In this Blu ray, he performs the Rach 2 like a Russian super-virtuoso, but not without an abundance of heartfelt sensitivity and tender lyricism. Great addition to my modest collection of classical music Blu rays.

The Chicago Story is: one classic hit song after another.
Excellent 2 CD set. Brings back memories of hearing many of these classic songs
when I was growing up in the good ol' 70s, and early 80s.
