Dante's Peak/ Daylight - two big thumbs up !!
These are 2 of my favorite movies ... Dante's Peak is about some researchers checking an unactive Volcano for signs of activity and soon they discover its waking up and there is some really amazing effects in this movie, when it erupts it devastates the quiet little town of ... you guessed it Dante's Peak" ... there is a very good storyline also that makes this a very easy movie to sit through I would rate this at least an 8 out of 10 if not more ... well worth watching ... In Daylight Stallone plays the hero ex police chief that saves the day ... this is a very edge of your seat type movie that has an excellent storyline and lots of action and suspense ... I rate this one at least a 9 of 10 on my scale ... There is a robbery and the getaway vehicle crashes into an underground tunnel beneath New York and it triggers a huge wreck where there is an explosion and everyone in the tunnels thats left alive have became trapped underground in the tunnel with smoke and fire from the explosion cutting the already short supply of oxygen by the minute, then to make matters worse there is a leak from the wall collapsing which threatens to flood the whole tunnel at once if it breaks all the way through ... Stallone is in top notch action in this movie ... if you haven't seen this movie yet its a must !!

This movie was excellent !!
In my opinion ...this is a great movie...I loved it ...it kinda has a Dawn of the Dead feel to it and I really enjoyed those movies as well...hope this helps ...this is probably an 8-9 on a 10 scale in my book...definately worth watching !!...hope this helps :)

one of my favorites!!!
well ppl...I know this movie is older,but still to this day theres no other pool movie thats even in the same league as this one...this movie was well choreographed and the movie really makes u feel what its like to be in the pool hustling business...maybe because I have played pool all my life and absolutely love it affected my reaction to word it like I did,but more than likely if you're looking at this movie you're a pool fan too...if you are DEFINATELY BUY THIS MOVIE if you have never seen it...has some really cool trick shots too..its very straight forward about lessons in life that you learn while 'hustling' ...its one of my all time favorite movies and even if you're not a big fan of pool...this movie may make you look at it in a whole different light!! Paul Newman is very inspiring in this movie as he battles the loss of good vision because of his age in this sequel to "The Hustler" with Jackie Gleason ..in my opinion The Hustler was great too...but The Color of Money is a new age type movie with things you may see out there today..overall its 2 thumbs WAY up in my book..hope you enjoy this movie 1/2 as much as I have!!!!
