A good device. We used to use a tape measure and marked to create a dotted line around the box, then come back and score that line with a pair of scissors. This was a two step process. This tool turns that process into a one step process. Just set it to the "Inches" you want to take off the box and run it around the perimeter of the box. It creates a perforated score line as you pull it around. The only thing a user has to do is slice down the 4 corners with a razor knife, down to the perf line, then fold the sides over. Much faster, easier and more accurate than the tape, mark and then score method. Fold your flaps in first, keep the box flat and you can score two sides in one pull, flip over, do the back side then open the box up and all four sides are scored. Good tool for the price.
