Was a great fit! There isn’t the metal roller on this but I don’t see that being an issue. I put a little lithium grease on the top of the gear hump track and it slides nicely. Tough to get on if you can’t get your shifter knob off. Def not the fault of the detent. Small trick if you can’t - use a small zip tie to pull the spring down towards the “roller end” and zip it tight. It installs roughly at 12 o’clock and then turns counter clockwise to 9. Then just seat the spring clip and cut the zip tie. Worked like a charm bc I could not get the shifter know off for clearance. Very good fix! Saved me $600 from buying a new shifter assembly bc Ford does not sell the detent as a separate part. Also a great time to switch the cable bushing - get the Dorman 14057. Mine is a 2010 F150 FX4.
