the aquastat required by boiler inspector
i actually had aquastat for the boiler heating unit that is on natural gas. the aquastat did not have the manual reset button. to follow the code of new york state, i was forced by the boiler inspector of new york state department of labor to replace or stand for violation. the dumb laws made by ignorant law educated new york state legislators, who must have accepted the gratuity from honeywell company. the violation was issued in march 2017 with 90 day notice. the old aquastat was working fine. I could not find the required aquastat at home depot, so had to buy from plumbing supply houses/amazon/ebay. it is easy to change. there are two wires that are switched with new aquastat and the sensor rod fits in the pipe. the aquastat does not have to be same model. any qualified aquastat will work fine, as long as it meets and pleases the department of labor boiler inspector. please donate for the children of the new york state legislators, as the loot and salary of the legislators is not enough. the legislators and governor of new york state are hungry for the money especially the donated money
