From my child who hated math...
...who now looks forwarding to reading her math books like a fiction book from the library. We've only just begun, but her enthusiasm is moving us quickly through the books to catch up to where she has left off with her other homeschool math curriculum. These books are a fun way to focus on understanding math and logic. The simple presentation is refreshing. Eliminating the drudgery of working dozens of repetitive problems has brought us to an oasis of learning.
My 9-year-old daughter says, "Awesome with 1,020 exclamation points!" See--she is already using math in new, creative ways.
