Worked perfectly out of the box!
Worked out of the box, just pull the battery tab (which is in place so the batteries don't get used up during shipping) and it worked. This is the way life should be.

Great, but slow menus
Everything works, and works well (watching DVD's, Hulu, Amazon Prime). But, it's slow to load up DVD's, the Samsung logo and then the FBI warning take friggin forever, and you can't skip either by pressing a button (e.g. "Disc Menu", "Title Menu", etc.
