2018 DJI TELLO - A must have
Great little product and good to learn with before committing to the higher grade models.
Make sure you buy additional batteries and propellers. Also learn how to reprogram it and alter the limits imposed by default. It fly's much higher that way but the wind will take-it away from you so be mindful of the conditions.
As you get better you find it reacts faster when the guards are removed and that's when you really need a supply of propellers. I can't believe how robust it is, I have crashed it that many times and all that has happened is the the propellers fly off so finding them can be difficult.
If you buy the recommended controller as I did then there is noticeable reaction lag which is OK outside but too much for indoor spaces. For an hour of fun you will need three batteries and they take quite a while to recharge. The Tello three bay charge appears to charge in sequence rather than simultaneously so an after market charger might be worth it if you want to fly it a lot in one day.
