Great old camera
I had an E 510 years ago and at that time wished I had bought a 550. When i was able to get this one on E bay at a steal I jumped on the deal. With 6.3 MP this camera takes very good pictures. With an f2.8 lens and x zoom it's about as good as anything you see today except that it doesn't have image stabilization. It does have a larger 1/1.7" super CCD sensor and a view-
finder which helps stabilize your shots if you hold it up to your eye. This is a good old camera and I keep it in the glove compartment of my car so I will always have a camera with me.

good camera
3 of 3 found this helpful Great camera. I love being able to use the remote to get steadier shots. Bought it used and had to learn all over again how to shoot a camera without IS. I am surprised that I am able to get most of my shots w/o any blur, but the telephoto shots are a little more demanding.

little wonder
This is a great little camera. I just returned from a cruise to New England and Canada and I carried this camera in my pocket most of the time. It works great in Auto, but you are able to get better results, often, by making your own settings. Inside a couple of Basilicas I was able to get great pictures with out a flash. Great little camera. With my DSLR around my neck and this one in my pocket I'm ready.
