works like its supposed to
I am a newbie when it comes to model railroading. Having had my first train 70 years ago I am just experiencing it new. So I don't feel comfortable making judgement on train products. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it.

A wee bit awkward
2 of 2 found this helpful I am used to having a movable back stop to measure depth of cut. This cutter is somewhat awkward from this standpoint. Also had some trouble leveling the knife. I had to raise the cutting block about 1/16" to get it to cut. I'll get used to it as I do not do much cutting any more.
