Quality - Style - Class

We bought this camera to replace our Canon ixus 60 which we loved the style and size of but, the crappy thing was built with a fault (we googled the fault and found hundreds experiencing same problem). We thought Canon were one of the 'Big Boys' in photography that could be trusted, errr, NO! When we were considering replacments we heard nothing but good things about Lumix as a few of our friends owned one. Word of mouth is always a very good thing! Also we wanted the replacement to have more than the puney 3x zoom that we had always been used to. I'm waffling, this camera is GREAT! It looks great in terms of lovely style. It feels great and has a reassuringly 'heavy' quality feel about it! It is not too big! Most of all it takes wonderful pictures and is very easy and intuative to use. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone wanting a quality point and shoot camera with some nice extas!

Ok for occassional use but not a great camera

Ok for reconditioned price, not overly impressed with the picture quality, especially if the light is not great, quite grainy, not a replacement for your main household camcorder by any means.
