Tiny but powerful
While the build quality of this model seems - like all the current Sony Blu-Ray players - a bit flimsy, it actually is a compact powerhouse of a player, loading even the most complex Blu-Ray discs incredibly quickly and playing them back with absolutely stunning picture quality. This model is the only one in the Sony line-up to play Super Audio CDs as well, which it does fast and flawlessly. And as an unexpected bonus, its USB input accepts flash drives formatted with NTFS, so you can use huge-capacity flash drives and are not limited with file size. Via USB it plays pretty much everything you can throw at it.
Great unit all round, was happy to get hold of one; the "refurbished" status was noticeable - a few fingerprints and little digs on the exterior - but it's nothing to overly worry about, and doesn't affect the operation of the player at all.
