Seems to work pretty well. Shifting is a bit stiffer with it but that might be the bronze bushings I installed. Recommended for the 99 Mazda Protege DX!

This is a great kit that unfortunately is out of production. The quality of the kit is outstanding and builds into a fantastic reproduction of the real car. I have read reviews that some of the dimensions are not 'accurate' but as far as I am concerned, they are close enough. If you like this car and want an excellent, highly detailed model of it, find one of these kits and buy it. You won't be disappointed with this one. The chrome and colored parts are so good that I probably won't even strip the chrome like I do with most kits that I build, they really are that good! This kit has working suspension and steerable wheels and the engine and interior are top quality.. as good as any Tamiya kit.
