A great read
Really enjoyed this book, and always feel that if I want to read the book again, then its a good book!
I loved that the author included historical people in her story, it made it seem real.
This was the first book I have read by Barbara Kingsolver and becsuse I enjoyed it so much, I went to the local library and got out The Poisonwood Bible, another great read!

Satisfactory
There are many yummy looking recipes in the book. My reservations are twofold, firstly most recipes seem to have long ingredient lists, and secondly there is no time indication for preparation and cook time at top or bottom of recipe. To me, that is essential as it gives a guide as to how long its going to take to make something. Also none of the recipes have nutritional information and this can important for some. Overall it is a well presented book with high quality photos and some interesting and yummy looking recipes.
