Best bread knife ever
1 of 1 found this helpful I have owned several bread knives over the years, some a lot more expensive, but this one beats the lot. It is incredibly sharp and cuts soft homemade bread perfectly. Highly recommended.

Too expensive
Works well but very expensive in Australia for what it does.

Good, but room for improvement
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this controller for a variable speed drill press conversion. It operates from a single-phase 240v supply and produces a variable-frequency 3 phase output (240v each phase). Overall it is a good buy for the price, but could be even better with a bit more attention to firmware and the manual.
Pros:
- Very good motor speed control, even without encoder.
- Good braking performance (requires braking resistor).
- Control panel is removable and includes speed control potentiometer as well as buttons.
- Very wide range of programmable functions, albeit with some odd limitations.
- Reasonably easy to wire up.
- Seems quite well made.
Cons:
- Manual is poorly structured and difficult to understand.
- Noisy fan, runs whenever the motor is turned on.
- Commands can be issued either from built-in removable control panel or via additional controller, but not both. E.g. the built-in panel does not have a reverse jog button, but if you add one, you have to disable the panel to use it.
- The display flashes annoyingly with the set frequency when stopped. There doesn’t seem to be any way to stop the flashing, and although the manual says this can be changed to show the set speed, I was unable to get it to work.
