Give it a try.

Used this to make a pasta sauce. The texture was very very near to beef mince. I need to try some different ways of cooking and flavouring to find the one I like best. However, this is normal for using any new product. I would recommend this to anyone else who is trying to reduce their meat consumption but do not xpect it to be a straightforward substitution. It is inexpensive so worth trying even if you are not sure about it.

Light weight and good value.

I like that it has two strengths of light. So far it seems ideal for what I want - quick light for power cuts and an easy to carry torch when negotiating the garden at night burdened with rubbish bags. If it proves long lasting I will (mentally) give it the final star.

Neat ice cream maker

Perfect for making small quantities and easy to store. Usage instructions brief but clear Made a lemon yogurt mix yesterday which worked brilliantly. Will need to play to see how other recipes go and the best timings. I would have given 5 stars if a few more recipes for a machine this size had been included though scaling down is not that complicated Just a nuisance if you want to get going immediately. Overall I would recommend this machine for small quantities which is what I wanted.
