Easy, affordable, tasty hot coffee
I am a first-time buyer of a Cuisinart coffee maker. This machine has everything I am looking for. One of the features is it has a charcoal filter, which takes away the impurities in the tap water, and the hazelnut cream flavor really comes through, no bitter after taste. The permanent gold filter came with this coffee maker but I also added a brown (unbleached) filter to keep the minute' coffee grinds from coming through. When I drink coffee, I like it hot and there is a dial to set it just for that temperature. Let me tell you about the stainless steel housing -- no plastic smell or taste coming through into this cup of coffee! The carafe lid tight when pouring the water, so no spillage on the counter. One of the pleasures in life is a hot cup of coffee and a coffee maker that does it all.
