Shakespeare's histories meet Game of Thrones -- utterly magnificent!!!
This series presents the most engaging versions of Shakespeare's history plays that anyone could hope for. It has a very "Game of Thrones" feel to it, and the performances, particularly Benedict Cumberbatch's Oscar-worthy performance of Richard III (in the 2nd season of the series), are breathtaking. Truly the definitive productions, and likely to remain so for generations. I can't recommend these highly enough!
