Best envelope filter currently on the market (especially for bass guitar)
This is the first envelope filter I've ever used (and I've tried and/or owned most of them) that is consistent on bass guitar without breaking up on the "B" string, sans artifacts, and timbrally pleasant and warm. It tracks better than the EBS or MXR bass envelope pedals, and sounds more organic than the EHX pedals. Unlike the BOSS synth bass pedal, it is usable in regular playing and can also be used subtly when one isn't going for a synthy effect. On guitar, it's a bit of a surprise, bringing out more dynamics and expression on Jaguars and Strats at the very least, and surprisingly finding itself applicable to chicken pickin' and other retro styles. It doesn't sound at all sythy on guitar, but is quite different from a regular wah effect. You can almost drive it into Talk Box territory, if you're not shy about the gain.

Ripley Under Ground [Region 2] - Dutch Import (UK IMPORT) DVD [REGION 2] NEW

A Dark Comedic take on Highsmith's rather more grim novel
Donald E Westlake co-wrote the screenplay, and his fingerprints are all over this film! It's a dark comedy, which sets it apart from the other Ripley films, but it actually works. Just be prepared for a radically different take. Even though I read the book recently, I didn't necessarily expect the film to follow the plot, so it remained suspenseful as well. I don't give it five stars though, just because the actors weren't the best. Not bad, but not up to the high standards of the other four Ripley films.
Rees Harps Harpsicle Harp Bag

This will protect your Harpsicle Harp for years to come
It was a 2-3 year search to find one of these, so the only debate was whether to spend more on the deluxe bag. I am happy to report that this one is a snug fit for the deluxe walnut Harpsicle, has an extra long narrow pocket for the tuning wrench and extra strings, and a separate zipper for sheet music, so it is a good value and it stands sturdy on the floor rather than flopping over like a lot of gig bags do.
