Great for getting stuff up off my desk. After an unfortunate spilled glass of water, I saw the need for a shelf to get the major electronics onto something so they wouldn't be in the path of liquids on the surface. It has a little flex in it but is otherwise solid and I feel very safe using it as pictured.

Good length and weight saving design
I bought two of these to make changing between a video head and slider easier. I put one on the center column of my tripod and the other on the top plate of my slider. Now I can switch my setup very quickly or mount my camera to either plate as well in a pinch. I was very happy these included the 1/4-3/8 step up adapters as well. I was originally looking for a 75-80mm clamp but couldn’t find much between 50 - 120. These turned out to be the perfect size and I am very happy with them.

Good fit for large faces/heads and great visibility
I bought this to use occasionally when taking photographs in potentially hazardous locations. The fit is good and while I can't wear my glasses under it, I can see well enough (can also get contacts) with great peripheral and vertical coverage.
