replace this first before replacing the logic board!
My MacBook Air suddenly ran slow, the speakers quit working, and the fans ran on high even when it was cold. The Apple store said the logic board was bad.. after some intense research, I learned that this part for the MacBook Air happens to have a temperature sensor in it, as well as the main control for the speakers. I replaced this part and it worked like new again! this part was $18 and a logic board is $250-$400. Save your money and try this first if you're having the same issues I had!
