Frankenstein. Boring.
Trust the story, not the story teller, was famously once said. However, this story as told, was not scary. Nor, could I subjectively enjoy her style of writing-too archaic? Too prolix?
A client told me, years ago, "forget Frankenstein. Read Dracula!" She was correct.
The paperback was a solid value. I absolve you of any responsibility for the contents of any novel that you sell me.

eye-opening
1 of 1 found this helpful The real horror to be portrayed is that which is contained in the movie Equus. This is the horror of human existence for many. To be able to witness forensically, the chemistry of human programming by the ill use of religion, sexual attitudes and perhaps the human frailty of misunderstanding, is chilling and exemplary of real portrayals of horror drama.
