Poor fitting parts, strong when built.
This comes as a flat pack so assembly required. All the parts were in the box as expected. As this is going to get knocked around a garage I wasnt too worried about the overall quality of the product as its only going to get covered in grinding dust and dirty tools. But the assembly was slightly frustrating as some parts didnt want to go together very well. The rear upright with the chain slots for the gas cylinder didnt fit in the bottom tray very well, either the tray is too small or the upright too wide, I had to force it in place to get the side bolts in. This was the same kind of thing for the handle, it was too narrow for where it needed to fit so some adjustment was needed to get it over the upper tray sides as putting the handle on the inside of the tray doesnt work.. Also if you go by the instructions and put the bolts for the castors from the top and all washers underneath then the excess thread of the bolts catches the castors as they swivel and stop the thing turning, a grinder to the tops of the thread soon sorted this out though as I didnt want to put the bolts in upside down.
That said once built it is strong and sturdy and will carry most small inverter type welders with plenty of space for clamps and spares.

Good value powerfull chainsaw
1 of 1 found this helpful Vary rarely do I write a review, never mind writing one on the day of delivery but felt it deserved it. Very good value with bag, spare chain and toolkit and not forgetting the oils and mixer container.
Put together and tensioned chain with ease, filled up oil and mixed fuel using container provided and set about starting it, cold weather and it started and idled on the 4th pull using the choke as instructed. I ran it up to speed in bursts to get some temperature into it then checked chain tension, slight adjustment then restarted first pull and set about chopping some 8 to 10" logs I had lying about, cut through with ease, plenty of power and have no doubt it will do much bigger and wetter wood with the same efficiency. Feels solid and comfortable enough for the occaisonal use I have bought it for, may not be up to standard for those who use them for a living but for my use its perfectly fine.
There are some negatives, the chain brake is a little stiff and although the auto kick back brake worked in testing I dont really want to test it live until it has loosened up a bit. The bag is nice but had to pull back chain brake to get it to fit in properly, needs a little more room in the front. And the mixing container is 600ml and when filling a completely empty tank left me with about 50ml in the container to top up when it goes down a little, may have been better off with a 500ml container so as not to overfill the tank.
Interesting to see how it goes long term but its a thumbs up from me.
